DC 6 provides our contractors with a workforce to meet the needs of any project, no matter the size and the complexity.
Our members make up the region’s best-trained workforce, thanks to the outstanding instructors at the Finishing Trades Institute of the Ohio Region (FTIOR). Besides running a registered apprenticeship program for our trades, the FTIOR also provides our journeymen with opportunities to bolster their resume through upgrade training, ensuring they stay current on the latest trends and technology in the industry.
Another benefit, which comes with our strong commitment to training, is a focus on safety. Our members, through our CBA, are required to regularly undergo industry leading OSHA safety training. They are encouraged to take other higher level safety-related courses, as well.
