Every political cycle presents new challenges for DC 6 and our members, as we fight to preserve our way of life.
While volunteers are not needed for every election, we can use your help on occasion to assist with the goals of our Governmental Affairs department.
From passing out flyers to making phone calls, putting up yard signs or just talking to fellow members, we have opportunities to make a difference in local, county, state and federal elections and policies.
Throughout the nation, the IUPAT Black and Gold Army has helped push candidates or issues to victory.
From time-to-time, we could use your help. Please consider volunteering to help elect our endorsed candidates. By getting our endorsed candidates elected, we can help protect the issues important to our industry and organized labor.
If you are not able to help with a campaign, please consider taking time to reach out to your elected officials.
When important issues arise, we may ask our members to call or email their U.S. or State Representative or Senator, County Commissioner or Executive, Mayor, Trustee, Councilman or School Board member.
We urge our members to stay informed and to volunteer. Call the Government Affairs Department at 866-239-4575, ext. 126. Let them know you are interested in helping out.
