Training & Education

IUPAT District Council 6 provides the world’s very finest and most comprehensive training to its apprentices and journeymen, focusing on the highest safety standards and the most modern trade skills.

All training programs are designed in conjunction with the nationally renowned Finishing Trades Institute.

Apprentices may train at one of the Finishing Trades Institute of Ohio Region’s nationally accredited training facilities located throughout the Council. The same curriculum is available in all facilities.

The FTIOR accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE).
