Scott Harter

SCOTT HARTER Assistant Service Director of the North– Scott is a 28-year Glazier completing his Apprenticeship in Local 1162. He held several offices within DC 6 such as; Warden, Treasurer, Vice President and Delegate. In 2002, Scott cleared into Local 181 and became a delegate to District Council 6. A few years later Scott cleared back into Local 1162 and was appointed Business Representative/Organizer in 2006. He is a current Trustee to Glaziers Local 1162 Pension and Indiana State Council of Roofers Health and Welfare Fund for Local 841 and 1162. In 2010, Scott successfully managed the merger of Canton Local 603 into Akron Local 841. In 2014 Scott was elected Business Representative for DC-6. Scott is currently overseeing the operations and duties of nine agents throughout the northern Ohio area, with the primary objective of servicing the membership and ensuring we are putting “District Council 6 MEMBERS FIRST”
